American robin nestlings, in Portland, Oregon
These pretty American robins were hatched--successfully--in a tree outside my family's house in Portland, Oregon, USA.
The kids were able to watch the whole process from eggs to flying away.
And to think some people have no trees in their yards, but spend hours glued to the television watching nature programs!!!!! All they have to do is create a nice forest around them!
